I am a graduate of CSM; completed work on my Masters degree in Math and Computer Science in May of 2009. I currently work as an IT Specialist for the USGS.
I play, coach and captain Ultimate Frisbee. With the help of some friends, I started a co-ed competitive Ultimate Frisbee team in Golden, CO in 2010 called The Strangers. I enjoy computers (both hardware and software), running, web design, computer interfaces, games (board games, card games, video games, etc.), reading, and comic books.
I wrote a book to help people better understand how to accomplish tasks on a computer. It's based mostly on Windows XP.
I've started working on a version for Windows 7 users.
It is written for people who don't understand how computers work, but still want to or need to use them.
It's called
The Manual That Didn't Come With Your Computer (But Should Have).
I found a place to publish it online if you want to buy a hardcopy.
I get a small portion of the proceeds from these sales to help convince me to write the next version using Windows 7.
