Alphabetical by game name.
| Game | # of Players | Equipment Necessary |
|---|---|---|
| Hot Box | ~6 | 1 disc, ~8 field markers |
|
This game is best played with 2 teams of 3 players. The endzone is a small 3ft by 3ft box in the middle of the field. Set up another set of markers about 10-20 yards (depending on how much you want to run) out from the endzone and enclosing it, this is the takeback mark. Since it is a small field with small teams the stall count starts at 5 instead of 1. Most other normal ultimate rules apply if you think of it in the same sense as half-court basketball. Teams score by getting the disc outside the takeback box, then back into the endzone. If you have an odd number of players, you can just put a goalie in the box who is always on offense. |

| Mini Ultimate | ~6 | 1 disc, 8 field markers |
|
We normally play this with teams of 3 with the winners staying on the field and rotating in other teams. Set up a small field with markers approximately 10 to 20 yards by 20 to 40 yards depending on how many players you have and how many you want on the field at a time. Since it is a small field with small teams the stall count starts at 5 instead of 1. Most other normal ultimate rules apply, with the exception of scoring. Games are typically played to +3 or -2 points. If you turn the disc over, you get -1 point. When you score in the end zone you are attacking you get +1 point, and immediately turn to start attacking the other end zone. No end zone to end zone throws. There must be at least one throw to a player on the playing field proper after you score in one end zone, before you can score in the other. |

| Pee Wee | ~8 | 1 disc, 12 field markers |
|
This game is nice for playing on beaches, or when you have a small number of players. Set up a small field with markers approximately 10 to 20 yards by 20 to 40 yards depending on how many players you have and how many you want on the field at a time. Then set to smaller boxes (~3 feet by 3 feet or less) at the ends of the field for the goalies to stand in. The goalies stay in these boxes and are neutral players on both teams. It is typically best to have two teams of about 3 players on the field. Since it is a small field with small teams the stall count starts at 5 instead of 1. All other normal ultimate rules apply, with one exception. The goalies must be used for scoring instead of using an end zone. No one is allowed in the goalie boxes except the goalies. You can make a crease for the goalie if you want, but I think its easier just to tell the goalies to push anyone who gets too close. A goal is scored when a team gets the disc from goalie 1 to goalie 2 and back to goalie 1. At that point the team who has scored a point can go for double or nothing. If they go for double, they just have to get the disc back to goalie 2 for 2 points, or no points if they turn it over. If they keep the single point then goalie 1 passes the disc to the other team who attempts to score. |

| Possession | >6 | 1 disc, 4 field markers |
|
As far as I know, I made this game up, but let me know if you've seen it elsewhere. This involves a space about the size of 1/8 to 1/2 the size of a regulation end zone depending on your number of players. The players are split into 2 even teams with everyone on the field at the same time. All other normal ultimate rules apply except that there is no endzone for scoring. Instead points are earned by successfully completing a predetermined number of passes (~10-25 depending on skill levels). It is very fast moving, and very good at working on give and go types of throws. |
